2026 First Give Wine A Future Sustainability in Wine Report Launch
As part of the launch of the Give Wine A Future – Sustainability in Wine Report, a panel of leading voices from across the wine industry came together to explore the future of sustainability in wine.
The discussion featured Mireia Torres (Director of Innovation and Knowledge, Familia Torres), Robert Joseph (Journalist), Charlie Vass (Co-Founder, Vinca Wine), Lily Eloy (Sommelier, The Hawthorn by Galway Bay) and Kevin O’Callaghan (Trading Manager, SuperValu).
Together, the panel explored key challenges and opportunities facing the wine sector today, including climate change, carbon reduction, certification, packaging innovation and changing consumer expectations. The conversation highlighted the importance of collaboration across producers, retailers and importers to drive meaningful progress and build a more sustainable future for wine.
