Pietradolce

Pietradolce's wines come from 11 hectares of ancient vines at altitudes of 600-900 metres on the slopes of Europe’s most infamous volcano – Mount Etna.

Michele Faro creates wines of great tension and precision from indigenous varieties Nerello Mascalese and Carricante. For those unfamiliar with the styles – the reds are broody and elegant and will appeal to lovers of Burgundy and the great wines of Northern Italy, Barolo & Barbaresco; the whites are vibrant and textural and while unique in character will appeal to lovers of Chablis & Riesling.
