Kanonkop ‘Paul Sauer’
A Cape classic since 1981. it is matured in new 225 litre French Nevers barrels for 22-26 months. It is often described as more elegant than the straight Cabernet Sauvignon from Kanonkop. Full bodied deep ruby colour. Cassis, black currant and berry flavours. An elegant classic and complex wine that should improve over the next 10 - 15 years. Best served with meat dishes.
